Once Long ago Dragons covered the land. They had many dealings with all the other races and each prospered in their own. But over the years the other races began to use the land to much and she sickened. The Deagons were not eh onyl ones to see it, but they were the only ones who could hear the land cry and feel her pain. They tried to cure her but could not, so in the end when the talks failed and the ether seeped away from the land there was but one thing left to do. All but the eight eldest left the land, to return only when the land sung once more. The eight split off into the eight earth-winds and reshaped the world wioth what power they had. they brought all the land masses together, then using the last of their power they went into the earth and ringed all of the land in a desert fueled but the heat from their bodies.

There they rest till the earth sings,
They wait for Gaia's song...
to kill her or brign back the others.
